A paper crane is a simple yet nice looking origami craft. Given below are the instructions to make a paper crane using this simple folding technique.

Steps in making an Origami crane:
Take a square sheet of paper and fold it along the dotted lines.
The fold would be like a triangle.
Fold the triangle again in the middle along the crease.
Once folded the bottom of the folded triangle should be facing the bottom.
Make a crease along the middle of this triangle.
Lift the front right corner up and towards the left.
Flatten the square.
?Flip the paper and repeat the step.
Flatten. Resultant would be a square.
Fold the top part of the sheet towards the center crease.
Repeat the step for the left side.
Fold the top triangle towards the bottom as shown.
Unfold such that the creases are seen.
Open the top part along the creases made.
Fold the paper inwards and flatten.
Flip the paper and repeat the steps 10 to 15.
Lift the top part of the rhombus that we have towards the middle.
Repeat the step for the other side as well.
Flip and repeat the above two steps for the other side.
Fold the lower ends of the rhombus towards the top.
Make a crease along the fold.
Unfold and tuck both the sides up into folds.
To make the head of the crane, make a fold and tuck it inwards as shown.
Fold the flap towards the bottom to make a crease.
Flip the paper and repeat the previous step to make the wings.
From the bottom of the crane where there is a small gap in the paper, blow in to make the body of the crane.
