A DIY on making rhinestone and metallic bead earrings is shown. The design of this earring pair has a royal touch to it – the metallic bead gives the earrings that vintage appeal.
How to make Rhinestone bead earrings:
Flat back rhinestones have been used – you will be using 4 flat back rhinestones for one pair.
- Round Nose Pliers
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutter
Take an eye pin and slide a metal bead in it.
Using round nose pliers, make a loop at the top. If there is any excess wire, cut it off using wire cutters. If this is your first time making this kind of loop, look here for a more detailed tutorial on making loops.
Glue two flat back acrylic rhinestones together. Once the rhinestones hold well, insert a jump ring. Flat nose pliers can be used to open and close jump rings/ear hooks.
Connect the metallic bead part and the rhinestone bead with the same jump ring.
Insert a fish hook ear wire at the top and close it.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the other earring.
