This elegant pair of beaded hoop earrings is simple to make and can be made in under 20 minutes. Small wooden beads in two colors have been used to make these earrings.
- Round Nose Pliers
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutter
How to make Beaded hoop earrings with wire:
Cut out a piece of wire of the required length using a wire cutter. The length of the wire for each earring in this project is 3.5″. The thickness of the wire used here is 22 gauge.
Make a loop at one corner of the wire using the round nose pliers.
Slide the wooden beads in the wire. I have alternated between red and sap green color beads.
Bend the wire like a hoop – circular or oval as you would like. For this, you can wrap the wire around a spool or any other cylindrical object of suitable size.
Wrap the loose end of the wire near the loop already made to secure the hoop. (Here is a project that shows how to do wrap wire) Once the wrapping is done, cut off any excess wire using wire cutter.
Insert the fishhook ear wire in the loop and close it.
Repeat the above steps for the other piece – here is the completed pair of beaded hoop earrings.
