Sikku Border Kolams

Our earlier collection of Sikku Kolams turned out to be useful for a lot of our readers. So I thought of following that with this collection of border kolams in sikku designs (using continuous lines).

Sikku Border KolamAll these designs can be drawn with two rows of straight dots. The number of dots in each row depends on the length of the border chosen.

Once you start drawing these type of border designs, you would be able to come up with many more such designs yourself. Just be innovative!

    Dear Owner of these Sikku
    Kolam designs,
I really liked your kolam designs a lot. I am a Tamilian and I appreciate Kolam as I also do a lot of art. I have recently written a book on South Indian Vegetarian Cooking. I was wondering, If I could have your permission to use some of the Skikku Kolam designs as a decoration on pages facing some recipes. I am doing this for the first time, so I dont know how to go about doing this. Needless to say , I will put your website name in the credits, saying that the kolam designs ( only four designs of the simple sikku kolams) were sourced from your website . Please let me know if its possible. Thank you.
    Warm regards,
    Saraswati Vaidheesh
