Making Refrigerator Magnets using Clay

Polymer clay can be used to make colorful refrigerator magnets in a few simple steps.

How To:

Step 1:

Make a smooth ball out of M Seal (alternatively polymer clay can be used).

Step 2:

Make different shapes using the clay and run a wet finger over each model to make them shiny. Allow them to air dry for an hour.

Step 3:

Paint each model using bright acrylic colors.

Step 4:

Apply a coat of clear varnish and allow it to air dry.

Step 5:

Flip the model and attach a magnet using glue.

Many such models can be made to make your refrigerator colorful!

Note : If Polymer clay is used, it has to be baked so that the model hardens. If it is M Seal or Fevicryl Hobby clay, then it will air dry and harden.
