Rosettes are one of the simplest to make decorations. Here are a few vintage style rosettes made using tissue paper for the Fall and Thanksgiving season.
Glimpse of the Result:
Take a colored tissue paper and cut out two broad strips of the same size.
Place one strip over the other and holding them together, make a fan fold.
Snip of the edges in a triangular or curvy pattern.
Hold the fan folds together and secure them at the center using a piece of metal string,
Expand the fan fold and stick the edges together to get a full circle.
Lift up the first layer of tissue paper a little upward.
Cut out a circle from construction paper and paste a piece of newspaper on it.
Glue this circular piece to the center of the tissue paper structure.
You can make many such vintage rosettes for different occasions and brighten up your homes.
