Daisies are suitable for decorating any occasion and for making floral bouquets. These pretty flowers can be made using crepe or duplex paper by following the steps explained below.
Glimpse of the Result:
For this you will need:
- Crepe paper (alternatively Duplex paper can be used)
- Cotton ball
- Floral tape
- Metal string
We shall start by making the stamen. Make a small ball out of cotton and attach it to one end of the metal string using glue.
Wrap this using crepe paper and glue it. Allow this to dry.
Now for the petals, cut out as shown below. The length of the strip can be about 18 to 20 inches.
Wrap the petals around the stamen; keep wrapping till the end of the strip and glue the end to the string.
Let the glued petals to dry.
The face of the flower would look as shown once you finish wrapping the petals.
Wrap floral tape on the string starting from the top to make the flower stem.
Now for the leaves, cut out the leaves from green crepe paper.
Insert the center of the leaf in the stem to complete your daisy flower.
Arrange the flowers in a vase of your choice.
