Bats are the perfect decoration for Halloween which aren’t to scary but give a dark effect. We can make this using chart paper or a thick sheet of bond paper.
Glimpse of the Result:
Take a chart paper sheet and fold it in half. Draw one side of the bat wing starting from the fold you’ve made in the chart paper.
Cut out along the outline and unfold.
Either paint the chart black or stick black origami paper on the chart. Cut out the black paper along the outline.
The wings are now ready.
Using the above similar technique of cutting out and pasting make the body of the bat.
Give eyes to the bat. I’ve cut out paper and used sketch pens for the eye balls. Alternatively you can stick plastic googly eyes.
Paste or staple the body at the center of the wings structure.
Mildly curve the wings at the two sides to get your bat ready.
A little spooky, a little toonish bat is just right for Halloween decoration. You can make a few of these bats and hang them along a string too.
