In this tutorial, we shall see how to make an e-greeting for Christmas using Photoshop.

How To:
Step 1:
Create a new file that would have 500px ? 350px dimension.
Select the Gradient Tool (G), pick the colors required and fill using the tool.
Step 2:
Select the layer and apply a particular layer style of your choice. I have chosen the Layer style – White Stationary.
You will get the below look:
Step 3:
Create a duplicate of the above layer on which we will work.
Step 4:
Now, select the tool Brush tool (B). Pick the color (Yellow, in this tutorial) and make impressions using the brush as shown below.
Step 5:
Now, select this new layer and apply changes as shown below.
The top layer now looks as shown below:
Step 6:
Now use the Pen Tool (P) and make an outline of the Christmas Tree.
Step 7:
We are now going to fill this pattern using Stars. Star is available under Assorted Brushes category – pick this and fill the tree in a pattern or randomly. I have also used stars from a downloaded set of brushes. You can experiment with different but suitable shapes too!
Step 8:
Use the Text Tool and write your greeting wishes.
Step 9:
You can use other pattern stamping and Christmas pattern brushes to add a little more glitz to the card. And the Christmas card is here!
